Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q1: What exactly is a Louverify Raster Card?
A Raster Card is a dynamic card you create. It uses your device's motion sensors (like the gyroscope) to smoothly switch between a series of images as you tilt your device, creating an effect similar to a physical lenticular card.
- Q2: How do I create a card?
- Tap the
+ button on the main screen to start a new card.
- In the editor, tap "Import Images" to select photos from your library. You can add up to 16 images.
- Tap on any imported image to enter the "Cropper" view to adjust its position and zoom.
- Drag and drop the image thumbnails to change their order.
- Give your card a name, and you're done! Tap "Done" to save.
- Q3: What is an
.ify file and how do I share it?
An .ify file is the special package format for your Louverify creations. It contains all the images and settings for your card. To share it, open a card, tap the "Share" icon in the editor, and send the generated .ify file to your friends via AirDrop, Messages, or any other app. Your friends will need to have Louverify installed to open and view it.
- Q4: Why isn't the Face Tracking feature working?
Face Tracking is an experimental feature. For it to work, please ensure:
- You have granted camera access permissions to Louverify.
- You are in a well-lit environment.
- Your face is clearly visible to the front camera.
You can enable or disable this feature in the app's settings.
- Q5: Is my data and privacy protected?
Absolutely. All of your photos, card creation, and motion processing happen entirely on your device. We do not upload, view, or store any of your personal content.
Troubleshooting
- The motion effect is too sensitive or not sensitive enough.
In the card editor, you can find a "Sensitivity" slider. Adjust it to find the perfect responsiveness for your card.
- The app is slow or crashes.
Please try the following steps:
- Close and restart the Louverify app.
- Restart your device.
- Ensure you have enough free storage on your device.
If the problem persists, please contact us.
- I can't import a friend's
.ify file.
Please make sure you are trying to open the file using the system's Share Sheet and selecting "Copy to Louverify" or opening it directly with our app. You must have Louverify installed.
